Thank you to all of our donors for your continued support. Our partner church has been able to continue expanding into new outreach programs because of your donations. This year Pastor Ruben and his congregation were able to host their first VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the kids in their community.
We are excited about Linaje Del Rey being able to start a VBS program; it will allow the church to reach more children and their families. The church had 60-80 children attend this year and they hope to be able to host twice as many children next year. Vacation Bible School runs for a week, has a different theme each year and offers a variety of activities to keep the children engaged.
There is music and dance time, as well as games and crafts. Snack time is also part of VBS. All of these activities give the children a chance to interact with each other and have some fun while also learning about Jesus.
While attending VBS, the children also have time to learn about the Bible, share their thoughts about what they are learning and pray with each other about things in their lives. Our partner church is very excited to continue this outreach program next year and your donations make this possible.
