15th Anniversary

We are excited to share that Pastor Ruben and his congregation just celebrated the 15th anniversary of Linaje Del Rey Church. The church continues to grow and expand their outreach programs to help their neighboring communities. They celebrated and gave thanks for another successful year of ministry.

Hanukkah

Every year, Pastor Ruben and church members hold a Hanukkah party for the congregation and members of the community. This year they continued this tradition, once again providing hope and presents for many children in their communities who would not receive gifts if not for this annual celebration.

Food

The children’s ministry at Linaje Del Rey Church is still going strong. Members of the church continue to pour their time and love into the children in their community. Providing meals to these children is just one of the critical parts of this outreach program.

Teaching

Education is another critical part of the children’s outreach program. Members of the church continue to help instruct children in areas such as how plants grow from seed and how to interact with other children in healthy ways.

Hygiene

Hygiene has become another critical part of outreach at Linaje Del Rey. Pastor Ruben and the congregation taught children of varying ages about teeth health and proper hand washing. They gifted Hygiene kits during this time as well.

Hair

Hair styling was also a part of the hygiene day at Linaje Del Rey church. Members of the church offered fun hairstyles for the kids and teens. A little bit of pampering can make a world of difference when it comes to an individual’s physical well being and self esteem.

Pantry

Linaje Del Rey Church also continues its food ministry, providing much needed necessities to members of their neighboring communities. The people of Portoviejo, Ecuador are no strangers to food shortages and financial lack, making the church’s food ministry a constant need.

Baptism

Baptisms also remain an important part of community outreach at Linaje Del Rey Church. Pastor Ruben and his congregation help believers to publicly celebrate the new hope they have found in Christ. The gathering is a joyous one, filled with laughter and cheers.

Shofar

The shofar, the Jewish horn of celebration, is also an important part of Linaje Del Rey Church. The shofar is sounded during times of celebration and also during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Pastor Ruben and his congregation hold true to their roots being thankful to God and faithful to their mission to help the people of Portoviejo, Ecuador in all areas of need: mental, physical, and spiritual.
