I would like to speak to you about my experience in Ecuador. I found that the people there were a genuine and a loving people. They are a people that have been devastated by earthquakes in 2016, but they have not given up hope or a desire to make life better for themselves or their families. I was truly blessed to work with an interpreter that spent so much time with me explaining not just the devastation of the earthquakes but the courage of her people.

K.L.O.E. was founded with the vision of directly partnering with Linaje Del Rey Church in order to send financial support directly to Pastor Ruben for his church to use where needed most.
Everyone in our organization is unpaid and volunteers their time, talents and often money to K.L.O.E. and our mission to help the people in Portoviejo. Since we are a small organization, we are able to pay for most of K.L.O.E.’s expenses out of our own pockets, which ensures that the largest portion of the donations received goes to Linaje Del Rey Church.
We also keep a portion of the donations set aside as an emergency fund, to be used in the case of an immediate need within the church or the community they serve. Pastor Ruben also keeps an emergency fund for the same purpose.
We have been very blessed since the founding of K.L.O.E. to have a steady base of donations from both our one time donors and our repeat donors, who contribute on a monthly basis.
